Perfect 10 Sat Beeper dish alignment meter: $29.
Provides a much easier method of aligning a dish than using the on-screen meter that comes with every DBS system. The meter is temporarily patched in line with the LNB at the dish, and uses power from the receiver to provide a variable tone. The dish is adjusted both horizontally and vertically to achieve the highest tone, which corresponds to the highest signal strength. This is not a magic solution if you have an installation problem. You still need a clear line of sight to the satellite, good cable connections, and a correctly mounted dish facing the right direction. PerfectVision 3x4 multi-switch: $54.
An electronic switching device required when more than two receivers are used with one dish. Two cables are run from a dual LNB to the two LNB inputs on the multi-switch. The third input can be used to feed an antenna or cable signal to the receiver locations (diplexers are required at the receiver end). The four outputs can be run to four different receivers, which operate independent of each other. Power for the multi-switch is taken from one of the receivers. An optional power supply is available ($14.) for the occasional case where a problem occurs operating on power from the receivers.
