| House Wiring Example with Diplexers: | ||||
| Diplexers are used to combine a TV antenna (or cable) signal at 5 to 860 Mhz, with an LNB signal at 950 to 2050 Mhz (with DC pass), on a single coaxial cable. Diplexers are used in pairs, with the signals combined at one end and split out at the other. There must be no splitters, amplifiers, or other devices in between the diplexer pairs (straight through couplings or ground blocks are OK). | ||||
